He has received the title of Executive Director of FEI/ECO-SD since 2005. He is a recognized expert in sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and energy management. He is an environmental consultant accredited by the Ministry of Environment in the field of environmental auditing and environmental management system. He has many years of experience in the industry; he has acquired industrial and environmental auditing and technical field experience in various industrial sectors as well as practical expertise in Cleaner Production (CP) and waste management applications. He is a certified auditor in OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 and the focal point for many international initiatives related to industrial development. He is an expert in Industrial Security Risk Management. He is also a member of the Carbon Foot Print Middle East and North Africa Advisory Committee and has international experience in managing Donors Funded Projects. He holds a diploma in diplomatic commercial representation and delegation in consular relations, a diploma in preparing advisors for diplomatic representation and delegation in consular relations, and he is an advisor to the International Justice Organization within the framework of the Geneva Convention and the Washington and New York Conference, and a Diploma of Diplomatic commercial representation and delegation in consular relations. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department, Helwan University in 1995 and holds a Professional Environmental Engineering Diploma from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 1998.
