We have made it a priority to think “sustainability” into all of our activities.

ECO; therefore, strive to integrate social, environmental and business ethics concerns in our projects and business processes. Through this approach, we aim at creating shared value for our customers, key stakeholders and society in general.

We define sustainability as integrating social, environmental and business ethics concerns in our business.

Our commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an extension of our fundamental values and they are based on our vision and mission. The commitment is also reflected in our support to the UN Global Compact.

ECO commitment to Global Compact

ECO SD is a member of the UN Global Compact and supports the ten principles relating to human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.

The UN Global Compact initiative is a framework for businesses that are committed to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.

Global Compact is an initiative launched by the previous UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan in January 1999 where he established a campaign all over the world addressing the businessmen to help in the foundation of social and environmental frameworks which, eventually, would secure open and free markets as well as aiding people to find an opportunity to spread the privileges of the new worldwide economy everywhere.

Ten universal principles: The Global Compact includes the 10 basics which tackles different issues starting with the International Declaration on Human Rights passing through the labour rights in the society and any other depravity issues.
