He is Sustainable Development expert and specialized in food and cereal industries for over 28 years in particular food technology and research & development. His experiences include Production Optimization (BAT, technology transfer, etc.), assessment, substantive monitoring and evaluation (technical and financial) of the CP projects of SME’s. Dr. Emad certified as ISO 22000 and HACCP Lead Auditor, Energy Manager (CEM), ISO 14000 auditors and has an OHSAS 18001 background. He was a member of some Multinational Research Projects during his work at the National Research Center (NRC).

He is the focal point as Food Sector Coordinator at FEI/ECO-SD through “ACI” Project (funded by DANIDA/Denmark) and “Resource Efficiency (REEF)” project funded by PSDP/GIZ (Germany) to implement CP in the Egyptian food industries. He accomplished more than 470 screenings and 121 full assessment studies to the food industries in 17 Egyptian governorates; beside, 48 successful implementations of the environmental compliance recommendations.
